Each ECP - FG member role is to participate actively in the professional world of European art and culture. Membership is based on creating a network for young artists to discuss and contribute ideas to important events of our time. 

Magdalena Korpas

Theatre and Cinema

Magdalena has been working in cinema industry for the past ten years. She’s an actress, filmmaker and writer. Since 2007 she has been successfully exploring photography universe which made her win FIRST PRIZE in Polish Talent Support Program 2018 and photography price in Gdynia (“Hala z ludzka twarza, 2015).

Carrie is originally from Kunming, China and later moved to Brooklyn, New York at the age of 14. She currently studies Finance & Stratégie at Sciences Po in Paris. She says art has always been one of her passions and has accompanied her through years. 

Patrícia Harsány

Jewelry Design/ Object Design 

Patrícia Harsány studies Jewelry Design Master at MOME in Budapest. She made her ERASMUS scholarship at EASD de Valencia which helped her to find the current field of research; working with lost and found objects. In her works, she focuses on found objects and exploring boundaries of Jewelry and Body.

Luca Brunetti

Photographer 

Luca Brunetti was born and raised in Rome, after graduating from Dass at La Sapienza
University and obtaining a three-year master's degree from the Roman School of
Photography, he became assistant to two photojournalists for many years. After the end of
this experience, he works on his own as a freelancer, becoming a specialized event
photographer. He has collaborated with FAI (Italian Environment Fund), the Goethe
Institute (German Cultural Center) and OMaR (Rare Diseases Observatory). 

Harry Martin

Visual Artist  

Harry is a fine art student with multiple prizes awarded for his audiovisual art. His other talents include traditional drawing and painting skills and proficiency with painting in Photoshop. As a multi-instrumentalist, he constantly performs collaborative drone improvisations alongside his painting installations. 

Lara Gomez

Spain

Graphic Artist & Designer 

 

Lara Gomez is a graphic artist from Spain. She began her formal art training in interior design then gravitated towards graphic design over the years. Her art often resembles themes that are a combination of nature and feminity. She works on her visual pieces experimenting with different languages and concepts through illustrations and letters (including typography, and mural art). In regards to Europe, she says, "Europe is an open source to share, learn, and accept our different life experiences, identities, and ways of being without barriers".

Francesca Vulcano

Visual Artist

Born in Crotone, Italy, artist Francesca Vulcano showed a great passion for colors and drawings since she was a child. She harnessed her talent onto the canvas and eventually, painting became her primary form of self-expression. Despite her busy schedule and professional duties, she is devoted to her art and it is a part of her everyday life. Her canvas and brushes remain constant companions on, particularly mundane days. In these works Naturalism and Surrealism find a balance, a binding to create a new form of expression.

Katherine Knutsen

Multi-Media Artist & Designer 

 

Katherine Knutsen is an American painter, animator, and professor of digital media and design.  She worked on the Oscar-nominated film Loving Vincent after finishing a residency in fiber arts while running an independent publication called The Siren.  She approaches the arts as a bridge that helps connect information and community with a sense of understanding and flexibility.  Her work tries to assist in highlighting issues and/or solutions that help unite the diverse socio-political spectrum. 

Genya Krikova

Genya is a contemporary artist, working in different media. Her work often focuses on people's psychology. In her installations, she often uses different materials like mirrors, iron, stones, lamps, and texts or creates ready-made objects. She also likes to use interactive devices. Genya is currently located in Munich, Germany. 

Nanki Bedi

Events manager

Nanki Bedi is a Berlin-based Hindustani classical singer from Delhi, India. Apart from being the events manager with the ECP-FG, she has also performed at a number of events in Europe, spreading cultural diplomacy. Between 2014-2019, she traveled to Poland, France, London, and Italy for performances at the Krakowia Danza Festival, Compagnie Outre Mesure, Nehru Centre, and OnSTAGE respectively. Nanki currently studies Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin. 

Rossella Vulcano

Research Curator and social media contributor

Rossella is a former student of Culture, Languages and Translations at Sapienza University, Rome. Her educational background brought to her the awareness of cultural variety on a global scale. She is currently an MA student at the HFU university, attending the faculty of International Relations and Cultural Diplomacy. Her interests are keen on political affairs, conflict zones, economics, and future trends. 

Erin Skoczylas

Erin is an American living in Berlin. She studies International Relations and Cultural Diplomacy and is also a photographer and photojournalist using people's stories to spark and innovate sustainable movements within communities. 

Maëva Le Roux

Art Curator and content creator for social media at ECP-FG

Maëva is a French Indonesian artist and model. She has lived in twelve countries; art gives her the means to express the incredible blending of culture she has been experiencing. Currently, she is undertaking a master's in International Relations and Cultural Diplomacy to study the capacity of culture and art to build bridges between nations. ​

Chandreyi Mukherjee

Chandreyi works on social media management for the ECP-FG current executive team. She is originally from India and studies International Relations and Cultural Diplomacy. Her other interest includes music and discovering hidden talents in Berlin's social scene. 

Alessio Staub

Communications Analyst and Recruitment officer

Alessio is an Italian/German master student of Cultural Diplomacy. He currently works on the ECP-FG executive team for communications and recruitment. With an academic background in International Relations, his main interests include humanitarian and development aid. He sees culture not only as a powerful tool to achieve comprehension and integration but a fundamental right every individual should be granted. 

Lina Jusevičiūtė

Lina Juseviciute is a Lithuanian freelance photographer. Her photographs are created in collaboration with artists from various fields and cultural backgrounds. Living in Lithuania, France, The Netherlands and Denmark inspired her to go beyond cultural constructions and get in touch with the poetry and longing that connect all humans.

Alice, Fauve

UK

Theatre Maker

Fauve, a British national, is a theatre maker living and working in London. She was originally trained as a clown at Ecole Philippe Gaulier in Paris, but has subsequently moved more towards performance art and cabaret. She sees the arts as a way to challenge the status quo and to dissect normative values surrounding identity and the structures in which we live. Her work as a performance maker is ambiguous in its nature eschewing direct narratives, and asking the spectator to search for their own interpretation. She hopes that through performance and the arts in general she can find international visions of utopia. 

Batinić, Marina

Croatia

Cultural Manager

Marina has Master’s degrees in Art History and English Language & Literature; in Mediterranean Arts & in Cultural Heritage Management, obtained at Universities in Croatia, France and Spain. Since 2011 she has been living abroad and engaging in a wide range of international cooperation projects. She is a co-founder of the Culture Hub Croatia–Platform for Education, Creativity and Development through Culture and currently lives in Brussels. She strongly believes that collaborative projects, transfer of knowledge and expertise and promotion of art practices can foster development of local communities, better mutual understanding and embracing diversity.

Meike is a recent M.A. graduate in International Economics & Cultural Diplomacy and part of the executive working group of the ECP-Future Generation. She was born in Germany, but was raised in different parts of the world, which has given her the opportunity of being part of various cultural events in different environments. She believes art and culture to be a powerful instrument to express political, economic, and social ideas in a way that is applicable for all levels of society. 

Butler, Nicolae

Poet, Writer, Composer

Nicolae is currently a master student at the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin​​, Germany and part of the executive working group of the ECP Future Generation. He was born in Bucharest Romania but lived most of his life in the United States of America.  Nicolae has self-taught himself classical composition, poetry, and writing, and has already published a number of pieces. Currently, he is working on his second poetic book, as well as a second symphony.

Writer

João is currently a master student at the University of Porto's Faculty of Arts, as well as a member of the Centre for English, Translation, and Anglo-Portuguese Studies. He takes a special interest in contemporary American literature, and understands art as a prime opportunity for effective communication. He firmly believes that honest and effective communication are the foundation of any pluralist society, and sees art as an unmatched tool in service of that communication.

Chabot, Dominique

Musician

Dominique is a classically trained musician (double bass) and self-taught photographer and has lived and studied in London and Germany. She has performed all over Europe and organized several projects in Palestine as well. Dominique believes the arts are an accessible way to bring people together and she is committed to contributing to a solution for global issues and educating values like equality and social justice, through her work as a performing musician.

Cultural Manager

Levan is the CEO of the Culture and Education Foundation in Tbilisi and additionally works for several governmental organizations in the fields of Education, Culture and Youth, such as National Youth and Children's Palace, where Levan is responsible for international cooperation and organizational development. He has a strong professional interest in non-formal and out of school education and works closely with Georgian partner organizations to modernize the system and adopt new educational programs.

Haubs, Mariella

Musician

Mariella is a classical violinist, who has graduated from The Juilliard School. She has performed all over the world and has received numerous awards including the Leonhard- and Ida-Wolf Memorial Price of the City of Munich and the Gerd Bucerius-Stipendium of the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben. Mariella is passionate about all types of artistic expression and believes that art not only serves as a tool for communication but also as a reflective mirror for society to recognize underlying truths. As an artist and as a citizen, she is committed to using her art both for the enhancement of lives and to support a higher sense of awareness within society.

Hermanski, Julia

The Taiwanese - German pianist Julia, who completed her studies in Berlin, succeeded in competitions such as the International Piano Competition Munich where she was appointed „Virtuoso of the year 2017“ and received additional prizes such as "Drobitko-Prize for creative daring“ and "Clavis-Festival-Prize“ Saint Petersburg. She is performing with orchestras like Luxembourg Philharmonia and Toruń Symphony Orchestra. She believes music to be the most important cultural asset - it connects, it touches, it comforts - which is why she is looking forward to sharing her passion and inspiring the world with her music!

Kostal, Klara

Cultural Manager

Klara is currently an MA student of Arts and Cultural Management at King’s College London, focusing on Cultural Policy and Cultural Democracy. Having studied Comparative Literature and Communication Studies at the University of Vienna, Klara pursued her passion for literature and theatre by working in dramaturgy, publishing, as a journalist, and in PR. During her time at the Austrian Commission to UNESCO (focus 2005 Convention) her interest for the intersection of art and politics was enhanced, as well as her belief that art does not only have the power to reflect reality, but also to provoke change in society.

Cultural Manager

Ester is currently a master student at the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin​​, Germany and part of the executive working group of the ECP Future Generation. She was born in Italy but decided to live abroad in 2015. Ester has been involved in theatre since a young age and danced ballet for a couple of years. Furthermore, she wrote her dissertation on how young people used music and arts as a tool  to display their feelings and emotions in the past and strongly believes in the unifying impact of arts and culture.

Liljefors, Miriam

Musician

Miriam is a Swedish classically trained musician and has performed at all the biggest venues in Stockholm as well as in Geneva, Switzerland, where she currently studies the violin at the music conservatoire. She also plays the harp, mandolin and piano. The highest goal of her music-making is to be able to bring the audience to that healing place within themselves that is beyond words. In today’s society of fast-moving information, Miriam believes it’s more important than ever to exercise and spread the values of classical arts such as dedication, focus and emotional intelligence.

Cultural Manager

Anja holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Ljubljana University and is currently a candidate at UNESCO IHE Delft Institute for Water Education. She is actively involved in international projects from her former traineeship programme and lives between Paris and Ljubljana. Culture became her advocacy in 2014 when she was named the national coordinator of the European Cultural Parliament Youth Network in Slovenia. Since then she has undertaken an active part in effecting change in the field of arts as she sees culture as an essential tool to help build common European identity and furthermore an inclusive international community.

McCormick, Daniel

Community Artist

Daniel is currently studying a BA in philosophy and psychological studies at the open university and works as a community artist within Glasgow. He is a founding member of The National Youth Arts Advisory Group (NYAAG), a collective of 34 young emerging artists that are working and studying in Scotland aged between 15 - 23 years old. The main responsibility of the group is to work and advise directly with Creative Scotland and the Scottish Government on Time To Shine Scotland's national youth arts strategy. Daniel fundamentally believes that the arts and culture can completely transform life chances and opportunities that are available, that it can truly transform whole communities through establishing connections, allowing space for discussion and build resilience.

Marco is an Italian Viola/Violin soloist, Gold Medalist for the commemoration of 150th anniversary of the Kiev Opera Theatre, Professor in Superior Music Conservatory in Italy, Honorary Professor in two Conservatory in Russia (Tambov, Vladivostok), Armenia(Yerevan), Tunisia(Sousse University), New Zeland (Pettman Academy of Music in Auckland). He has been invited to teach Master Classes in important academies (Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, Belgium, Ireland, France, etc) contributing to the artistic growth of numerous students. He is always convinced that the arts are the key to determining positive changes, especially the music.

Maria is a creative all-rounder with a strong drive to facilitate equality and diversity, leveraging her CEE background. She believes in democratic digital communication and supports degrowth. Sharing and caring as a means to achieving humanistic capitalism and enhancing the impact of the slow movement is one of the approaches Maria explores through her artistic research.

Santi, Andrea

Photographer

Andrea is a young aspiring artist and photographer. She graduated from Polo-Liceo Artistico in Venice, and then studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice. She was born in Italy but recently decided to move to London. Andrea portrays people both in drawings and photography and was published in different magazines, art books as well as blogs, and won sundry art and photography prizes.  She believes that art goes beyond any social and national borders and hence has the power to bring together people from diverse cultural origins.

Raič, Marina

Croatia

Cultural Manager

Marina graduated in cultural studies and cultural management. She is currently working at the Pannon EGTC (Hungary-Croatia) as a regional representative. Her primary focus in this territorial cooperation is on cultural heritage and rural tourism. She is interested in film festivals and creative industries. Marina believes that culture can unite European society and bring economic and political prosperity.

Sciascia, Jessica

Cultural Manager

Jessica is an Italian national but grew up in Germany. She did a bachelor's degree in Sociology and is now studying "Learning and Communication in Multilingual and Multicultural Context" at the University of Luxembourg. Her academic work focuses on education systems, social mobility as well as social inequalities of migrants and has therefore been involved in research projects in an Asylum Seekers Centre and in a German Foreigner Youth Centre. Being an advocate of social mobility, Jessica believes the art to be a means to give social and political realities a voice.

Cultural Manager

In 2014 David decided to study American Studies in Berlin, with an emphasis on literary and cultural studies. Currently, he is writing his thesis on perceptions on bureaucracies in 21st-century literature, and enjoys writing short stories on the side. He is interested in ways that literary and performative texts influence, constitute, and are constituted by reality. David believes that it is incredibly important to keep creating art or by simply using the keen eye of a critic to show the public in what ways art produces meaning.

Straub, Vincent

Born in the US, Vincent is from a German family and has grown up in the UK. He is currently an undergraduate student at King’s College London, the practice of visual and digital art is something he pursues in his spare time. He has collaborated with Tate Collectives in London as well as  Blikopeners Collective in Amsterdam and exhibited his works in numerous events. On the European stage, he believes arts and culture can be the most effective medium for raising awareness about the pressing issues facing us today, whilst also enabling us to share our diversity and bring us together.

Cultural Manager

Louise is currently a master student at the Institute for Culture and Media Management in Berlin, writing her thesis about the politicization of the museum. She was born in Germany, but has both lived and worked abroad. Due to a strong professional interest in curatorial practice, Louise contributed to two exhibitions in China about the history of documenta in 2017 and currently works on another exhibition project. She believes that arts and culture are thriving forces for a connecting identity across national borders, social change, and development.

Vos, Sophie

Sophie is currently a master student studying International Relations in Berlin and is part of the executive working group of the ECP- Future Generation. Growing up, culture and the arts was forever an interest of hers. She sees art not only as a way of evoking emotions but also as a way of connecting people in society. After studying modern languages, including Italian and German, she found herself immersed in other cultures.This integration into different European societies made her appreciate the vast and brilliant diversity Europe has and led her to the ECP-FG.

Vyain, Lucy

Painter & Illustrator

Lucy has graduated from Falmouth College of Art and now works as a fine art painter and illustrator. She has a dual identity of both English and French and has benefited throughout her life from both cultures. Her work as an artist is an attempt to reveal the facets of humanity that all too often go unnoticed, sometimes these records take the form of a drawing, a story, a painting, or some scribbled words. She believes that art helps people, communities and sometime even nations to stumble over the truth of a given problem. 

Win Russel, Jess

Contemporary Visual Artist

Jess Win Russell is a young artist from the UK, whose works explore visual metaphor and connotation through multimedia installations and the curation of objects. With an interest in art’s ability to connect distant ideas and traverse the distance in the mind, Jess believes visual culture can operate as a common language between nationalities. Moreover, art provides an important platform to acknowledge beliefs, discuss ideas and develop understanding.

Zeqiri, Nita

Photographer

Nita Zeqiri is an artist-photographer. She has been photographing since 2003 and her work was presented in national and international exhibitions including  National Geographic Photo of the Day. She uses photography and film as a tool for personal and social change, with a particular focus on gender issues, which she gave particular attention in the exhibition “Emphasize” and ” Wise Women” as well as in the films "A constellation of selves" and  “Invisibles”.  She also has extensive experience in cultural management, youth development,  and marketing.
