Examples: Indigenous practices, take-make-waste culture, humans relationship to nature, social welfare, globalism lens on sustainability.

At the end of the campaign, our final product will be a little booklet on the inspiring practices of sustainability present in art and culture.

Webinars

Our Motive

(Specific) Sustainability through the lens of cultural diversity.

  • Explore the differences in the ways people from different cultures perceive and respond to environmental and social issues.

  • Discuss culturally based solutions for ending environmental degradation caused by human activity (through cultural practices).

  • Elaborate how cultural practices may affect sustainable policies (and vice-versa)

  • Call for ECP-FG members and other inspiring artists to tell (visual) stories about environmental issues that matter most to them.

 

(General) Other

  • Support young creatives living in Europe to gain experience in their respective field and rise in their profession

  • Raise the voice of participants in socio-political matters, particularly sustainability

  • Promote dialogue between people from different backgrounds, nationalities, and generations

  • Raise awareness and contribute to a better understanding of current sustainability issues & progress through arts and culture

  • Explore opportunities for collaborative action

  • Encourage society to get more engaged with art, artists, culture, and the link to socio-political issues
